How does the pricing work?

We bill you for our support and consulting services on a monthly basis based on the number of user accounts you have and the number of servers we maintain on your behalf.
 

AWS bills you for their cloud infrastructure including firewalls. servers, storage, backups and more. AWS services are charged by the month by AWS.  
 

There are no lock-in contracts for either Habitat3 or AWS. Just use month-to-month

What do I need to get started?

All you need is an Internet connected PC or Laptop to start using your private cloud server.  â€‹


How do I move my data to the cloud server?

First we create a secure private AWS environment to host your server and data.


Then we create a new Windows virtual desktop server and install all your required applications including Optomate into the new server. From there we can migrate your data to the new installation of Optomate at a time convenient to you.

Will I be able to host MS Office on the private cloud server?

No, our packaged solution for hosting Optomate does not include the ability to host MS Office. We recommend using the web-based MS Office applications via Microsoft365.

Will the service suit my practice?

If you have 3 or more staff, a good internet connection and would prefer to avoid the risks and inconvenience of a server in your practice we can help.
